Is there a better way to spend a Saturday morning than visiting a bakery and indulging in a freshly baked pastry or two? Not as far as I'm concerned. With an ever-increasing range of sweet pastry treats to try, I started this blog to share my thoughts on some of the less common pastries I've tried, such as the tangy bichon au citron originating in France and the Iranian date and pistachio pastry called komaj sehen.
